三月诞生石 · March Birthstone

March 出生的人，现代表通常写 海蓝宝（Aquamarine）。下面把两套表、每颗石头的来历与保养，以及它和中国传统的关系都列出来。

March is most often given as Aquamarine. Both lists, every alternative, the care notes, and whether the stone has any Chinese tradition — all below.

三月这一栏：两套表真正打架的三个月之一。传统表的首选是血滴石，1912 年的现代表换成了海蓝宝（三月在这一年换了两次石头）。两个答案都站得住，海蓝宝只是更好买。One of the three months where the lists genuinely disagree. The traditional stone is bloodstone; the 1912 list swapped in aquamarine — one of the two stones it also moved for March. Both answers are legitimate; aquamarine is simply the more available one.

中国传统里没有它的位置。海蓝宝是作为现代宝石进入国内市场的，常被当作蓝宝石的平价、高硬度替代。No traditional Chinese role. Aquamarine entered the Chinese market as a modern gem, usually as a cheaper, harder stand-in for blue sapphire.

1912 年现代表把海蓝宝放进三月，挤掉了原本的头牌血滴石。Aquamarine joined March in the 1912 list, displacing bloodstone as the headline stone.

保养 · Care

硬度高、韧性也够，日常戴着包括做戒指都行。是比较实用的一颗诞生石。Hard and tough enough for everyday wear, including rings. One of the more practical birthstones.

挑的时候看什么 · What matters when choosing

硬度只说明抗刮，不等于抗砸。本月的石头硬度是 7.5 – 8。硬度低的不适合当每天戴的戒指，但做耳饰、吊坠完全没问题；硬度高的也可能崩口。真正决定磨损的是硬度、韧性、以及你戴着它做什么。

先问是不是处理过的。祖母绿充填、蓝色托帕石辐照、黄水晶加热、绿松石浸胶染色，都是常见且正当的做法——但卖家应当告诉你。不说的才是问题。

两套表挑一个你喜欢的就行。因为两套表都有人用，你完全可以按颜色或预算选，不用被「官方答案」绑住。

Hardness only measures scratch resistance, not toughness. Ask about treatments — filling, irradiation, heating and dyeing are all normal, but they should be disclosed. And choose between the two lists by colour and budget; there is no official answer to be bound by.
