月光下，一个小小的蛋躺在叶子上。 星期天早上，暖和的太阳升起来了。「啪！」从蛋里钻出一条又小又饿的毛毛虫。 他开始找东西吃。星期一，他吃了一个苹果。星期二，他吃了两个梨…… 他吃了好多好多东西，肚子好痛！ 后来，他吃了一片绿叶，感觉好多了。 他变成了一条又肥又大的毛毛虫，造了一间小房子。 两个多星期后，他咬破小房子，变成了一只美丽的蝴蝶！

In the moonlight, a tiny egg lay on a leaf. On Sunday morning, the warm sun rose. "Pop!" — out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar. He started looking for food. On Monday, he ate through one apple. On Tuesday, he ate through two pears... He ate so many things! His stomach hurt! Later, he ate a green leaf and felt much better. He became a big, fat caterpillar and built a small house. After more than two weeks, he nibbled a hole in the house and became a beautiful butterfly!
